The Annual Catechetical Immersion seeks to form the parish catechists of the Archdiocese and certify them as acceptable Catechists to serves in the parishes of the Archdiocese of Oklahoma.

This is a one-day event every July with a track for newcomers and a track for the experienced catechist. It offers unity as the formation will be offered in English as well as Spanish according to need and offers detailed formation for each group of catechist, whether they specialize in sacramental prep, OCIA, Children’s Formation, etc.

The Immersion also hopes to foster fellowship among the catechists of the Archdiocese to help the natural sharing of the gospel, personal testimony, experiences, teaching methods, and joys in the vineyard of the Lord.
